Even Budweiser Will Not Forget...

I found video this too late to include in the Patriot Day post, but wow, it's just so touching. Apparently this was aired only once on 2/3/02 during the Super Bowl XXXVI. It's their commercial called Clydesdale Respect.



Although it certainly won't incline me to drink Bud over Newcastle, I do appreciate that such an American icon of a company would take it upon themselves to honor those affected by 9/11.

Happy(?) Patriot Day

How are we supposed to be celebrating this holiday? I have my flag out at home of course, but should we be dressing in Red, White & Blue like we're a proud country today? I'm not necessarily proud of the state of our union, more saddened by the reminder of all that shattered for us six years ago.
